How a PET bottle press works:
- put the bottle in the press with the cap up
- loosen the cap so that the air can escape freely from the bottle
- press the chopper lever down
- if the bottle is too hard to squeeze, check if the cap is loose enough
- press the lever until it reaches the bottom position
- before releasing the lever, tighten the cap to prevent air from entering the bottle
