Sd.Kfz. 9/1 Famo Sd.Kfz. The 9/1 FAMO is the largest of the WWII German half-track family of vehicles. It was designed as a heavy artillery tractor, but its use in wartime conditions led to other tasks. The vehicle was mainly used in repair units and was used to evacuate armored personnel carriers. With the development of armored weapons, increasingly heavy tanks were towed by two or even three cars of this type. The tractor was powered by a Maybach HL 108 engine. The same power units were installed in the first versions of the Pz. Kpfw. III and IV. The 9/1 version of the tractor was equipped with a six-ton crane (Bildstein). Sd.Kfz. The 9/1 Famo was created in 1:35 scale, matching figures and consists of 498 building blocks. Functionality of the model: working crawler traction, rotating wheels, seats for figures, rotating crane with a movable handle, lifting supports, a hook on which we can hang the block engine. All graphics are high quality prints. The picture shows a German mechanic holding a pair of pliers. The set includes a plate with the set name printed on it.
