Lighter than other triple seasoned cast irons marked 1896. The Blacklock collection, like all Lodge cast iron, is impregnated with a natural cooking oil that is fired onto the surface. This creates a protective layer for easier cleaning. The products of the Blacklock series are produced using a modern, innovative production method, thanks to which the casting is very thin and the dishes are light, while maintaining the properties of 100% cast iron. Pan features: - Extended ergonomic handle that stays cooler for longer - Slanted sides for easy stirring - Dual spouts for draining sauces - Specially shaped and raised support handle for greater comfort and superior control Designed to be used on any heat source or cooking surface , can be used both in the kitchen and outdoors, e.g. on the fire, on the grill.
