Strongly alkaline detergents cause corrosion in aluminum parts and take away the shine of anodized parts. Rex Bicycle Wash has been found to be completely safe in long dissolution tests. Rex's wheel cleaner also does not leave a surface on the brake discs that weakens the braking performance like wax-containing cleaners. The production is based on modern environmentally friendly chemistry, without solvents.
