Datacolor Spyder Shelf

The Datacolor Spyder shelf can be easily attached to a computer monitor. You can use Spyder Shelf with the SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite screen calibration tools. The SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite, as well as the older Spyder5PRO and Spyder5ELITE, have a room light metering feature. This feature is used to measure room lighting before calibration and then offer the appropriate monitor brightness and white point.

The SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite, as well as the older Spyder5PRO Plus and Spyder5ELITE Plus, have a feature called room light switching. The Spyder sensor can be placed directly on the surface of the Spyder shelf to monitor room lighting, allowing Spyder Utility to use the profile that best matches the room lighting. Placing the sensor above the monitor avoids unexpected light exposure to the monitor.
