Controlling indoor temperature and humidity through targeted heating and ventilation creates a comfortable and healthy living environment and even saves heating costs. Most people are comfortable with a room temperature of 19-25°C and a relative humidity of 40-60%.Musical instruments: Wooden musical instruments such as pianos, violins and guitars are sensitive to climatic conditions. Wood is a hygroscopic material; when the humidity is high, moisture is absorbed and objects can become warped. If the ambient air is too dry, moisture is sucked out and cracks appear. The optimum climatic conditions for most wooden musical instruments are 18-24 °C and 45-55% relative humidity. Check that these values also apply to your own instrument.Particularly important when storing musical instruments: climatic conditions should remain as constant as possible. Observe the stored maximum and minimum values and avoid strong fluctuations in temperature and humidity.Turtle: As cold-blooded animals, turtles kept in terrariums are dependent on adequate heat sources. Maintaining conditions that are too dry can lead to disease and dehydration. The conditions for the "Tortoise" regime correspond to the ideal conditions for the European tortoise. During the active phase, 25-32 °C and 45-65 % relative humidity are optimal. Please make sure that your turtle species does not require different rearing conditions.Humidor: A high humidity level is essential for the durability of the cigars. For this reason, cigars are stored in a special container with an integrated humidification system called a humidor.
