It receives commands from automation devices (such as room thermostats or a controller) and regulates the distribution of water flow according to the set parameters. The state of the thermal actuator is NC (Normally Closed). It is not suitable for use in a system heated by a solid fuel boiler.
The actuator works with any type of programmable or non-programmable room thermostats.
