Use a high quality knife only on a decent blade-friendly cutting board. In addition to the durability of the knife blade, the wood fiber board has the benefit of maintenance-free and moisture-resistant. Biofiber cutting board can be dishwasher safe and does not need to be sanded or oiled like a traditional solid wood board.
The board is much thinner than traditional wood boards and feels hard under the knife at first, but softens quickly when used, and is more friendly to the knife blade than a plastic cutting board. The heat resistance of extruded wood fiber is also considerably higher than that of a traditional wood board, so it can also be used safely as a pan base. Biofibre boards are NSF approved and thus meet strict hygiene regulations. The size of the board is 30.5 x 23 cm and the thickness is about 1 cm.
Usable scratches on the board surface can be removed with fine sandpaper, but this is often unnecessary as scratches are only a cosmetic disadvantage.
