This Barebone version of the popular Ducky One 3 comes without switches and keycaps, allowing you to choose your preferred switches and keycaps.
The version of the Ducky One 3 offered here is in the full-size format. It offers a full set of keys, including a numeric keypad, function keys, and arrow keys. This makes it suitable for both gaming and office applications, but it also requires a larger desk space.
QUACK Mechanics
With this keyboard, the manufacturer introduces its design philosophy, QUACK Mechanics. Ducky considers four essential aspects that are crucial for the typing experience: keycaps, housing, sound, and stabilizers.
Sleek housing and gentle sound
A common criticism of mechanical keyboards is their bulkiness. The newly designed housing of the Ducky One 3 is flatter than its predecessors, relieving the wrist in combination with the three-stage feet.
To improve sound and typing feel, Ducky tested a total of 17 different rubber composite materials and selected the most suitable option for the Q-Bounce pad. This is combined with an additional foam layer made of EVA to effectively dampen vibrations while typing and soften key presses.
Beautiful RGB lighting for your gaming setup
The Ducky One 3 features upward-facing per-key LEDs that illuminate your keyboard attractively. You can switch through various lighting modes and colors with key combinations. Of course, you can also turn off the lighting if you prefer.
