The Adafruit Hot-Swap I2C Buffer is a module with an I2C bus buffer based on the TCA4307 chip. This allows you to connect I2C devices to an active power supply without fear of stopping the transmission due to an additional SCL pulse or unexpected capacitive load. It can be used for prototyping devices where external devices are frequently connected and disconnected. The module can handle I2C clock frequencies up to 400 kHz. In addition, the Hot-Swap I2C Buffer automatically disconnects the bus if it detects that SDAOUT or SCLOUT are low.Specifications:
