The module is designed to charge a 3.7 V Li-pol battery using the included mini solar panel or micro USB port and power devices with a voltage of 3.3 V. The kit includes a cable with a JST plug for connecting the battery and two double gold-plated plugs, as well as wires for soldering the photovoltaic panel. All modules in this series have an MPPT algorithm (maximum power point tracking), which significantly increases efficiency in changing conditions. The board also has a number of protections: against overload, over-discharge and reverse battery connection, as well as against short circuit and 3.3 V output overload.
