Distance sensor board based on Lidar technology. The sensor detects objects up to 130 cm and is powered from 3 V to 5.5 V. It has one digital PWM output, the signal of which is similar to a servo control signal. A digital pin of the microcontroller can be used to measure the pulse duration of each level, which encodes the measured distance. Short-range Lidar technology is used to precisely measure the time it takes for the emitted eye-safe infrared light pulses to reach the nearest object and be reflected back. While the sensor is operating, it continuously measures the distance and encodes the ranges as large pulse widths, which the microcontroller can synchronize using a single digital input. The maximum range of 130 cm is only achieved with high reflectivity under good environmental conditions. An object with lower reflectivity or poor environmental conditions reduces the maximum range.Specifications:
