The i-Spin XL is another innovation in the world of Joie car seats - suitable for children from birth to about 12 years, from 40 to 150 cm tall . This may be the only car seat you will ever need with your child. Its big advantage is the ability to face the back up to a height of 105 cm , that is, around 4 years old.

Joie i-Spin XL is a swivel car seat integrated with a 360-degree rotating Isofix base. The modern, reinforced construction of the Joie car seat provides safety and comfort for everyday car trips with a child. The i-Spin XL features Joie's signature 3-layer Tri-Protect headrest , 12-way adjustment , and 5 forward and rearward recline options .

Joie i-Spin XL is installed on the Isofix base, after the child reaches 15 months, it gives parents the opportunity to consciously choose the direction of travel.

Use of the car seat depending on the age/height of the passenger:

• 0-15 months - mounting only to the rear, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 5-point internal safety belt, rotation function on the base;
• 40-105 cm / approx. 0-4 years - possibility to transport backwards for 4 years of the child's life, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 5-point internal safety belt, rotation function on the base;
• 76-105 cm - the possibility of turning the seat forward, Isofix base, the child is fastened with a 5-point safety belt, rotation function on the base;
• 100-150 cm - assembly facing the direction of travel, Isofix base, the child is secured with a 3-point car belt, there is no rotation function on the base.

Characteristics

Joie i-Spin XL is an i-Size car seat for children between 40 and 150 cm tall. This means that your child can use this solution for the whole period of driving in the car seat, from birth to about 12 years and in standard weight groups from 0 to about 36 kg. The Joie i-Spin XL allows you to carry your baby rear-facing for most of this time.

We all know that the longer a child rides rear-facing, the better for their safety. Joie i-Spin XL is a car seat that, due to its modern design, blocks the possibility of turning the car seat forward for a child up to 75 cm tall, that is, for the first 15 months of life, the child can only travel backwards . Joie recommends extending this period by allowing you to ride backwards up to a height of 105cm using the seat's internal 5-point harness.

The modular design of the seat allows it to be adapted to the child at each stage of development. Newborns and babies benefit from the 3-part Grow-with-me insert , which includes as many as three separate removable elements. As a result, we can remove the insert in parts, individually adjusting it to the child's body.

The headrest of the seat is adjustable in 14 steps , together with the seat belts, based on the Grow Together system. When the headrest is raised, the space in the seat expands in width thanks to the automatic adjustment system, so the child gains more space in the neck and shoulder area.

The innovative headrest of the Joie i-Spin XL car seat has been developed using Tri-Protect technology. The name Tri-Protect stands for triple protection and it's no accident. The headrest consists of three layers , including a layer with patented Intelli-Fit memory foam . The head restraint designed in this way protects the child's head and neck well after a side impact. Headrest foam absorbs impact energy well .

The seat of the Joie i-Spin XL reclines in 5 positions : from a sitting position to a horizontal, more reclining position. The tilt of the seat, regardless of the direction of rotation of the seat, promotes comfort anytime and anywhere, regardless of the child's stage of development, the direction of travel, or the length of the trip and the passenger's activity during it.

The offered Joie armchair is finished with soft, plush, luxurious fabric . The specificity of this fabric is that it insulates against the cold in the winter and allows the child's skin to breathe in the summer. As a result, the baby sits comfortably and comfortably in the seat, maintaining maximum comfort regardless of the season. The seat has ventilation on the sides and back , so fresh air constantly enters the seat.

The special side panels of the seat ensure that the child is even better protected from the consequences of the impact in the event of a side impact. We can help ourselves when putting the child in the seat - the magnetic belt holders make the belts stick to one point after connecting the cushions to the seat. For this reason, we can comfortably place the child in the seat without removing the belts from under it.

After switching to the high seat mode, the 5-point seat belts are removed and the child is secured with the car belt. Belt storage will allow you to place them in a permanent, safe location.
