Bondtech CHT tips split the plastic into 3 thinner strands, allowing the material to be melted from the inside out. This results in faster melting and higher flow rates.
3D printer nozzles are made of metal with at least one or many holes to increase the surface area of the heating walls.
Brass tips are nickel plated to protect against corrosion, erosion and wear. Nickel plated tips have greater corrosion resistance and a lower coefficient of friction, which allows for smoother material feed and reduces plastic adhesion to the tip surface.
