Glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, MSM, hyaluronic acid, collagen type II Glucosamine sulfate – NOURISHES Glucosamine plays an important role in cartilage metabolism.
It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (the main structural components of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively absorbed by cartilage.
Administration of glucosamine slows down the progression of degenerative changes in cartilage that have already occurred. Chondroitin sulfate – NOURISHES Chondroitin sulfate is an important component of joint cartilage.
It binds a large amount of water, which moisturizes cartilage, promotes the formation of proteoglycans and reduces collagenolytic activity.
Using chondroitin slows down destructive changes in cartilage, relieves joint pain, improves mobility, and slows down the course of joint inflammation. MSM – ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECT MSM is an organically bound sulfur-containing substance that strengthens ligaments and tendons, suppresses inflammation and pain, regenerates and relaxes muscles. It also has strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulfur compounds that have a positive effect on the body, especially in damaged articular cartilage. Hyaluronic acid – OINTMENT Hyaluronic acid is mainly found in connective tissues, where it forms the main component of synovial fluid in the joints. The higher the acid concentration, the better the viscoelastic properties of cartilage and its nutrition. Its use normalizes the properties of synovial fluid in the joints, neutralizes cartilage degeneration and restores its original properties. Collagen II. type – REBUILDS collagen II. type is the main protein of articular elastic cartilage, where it ensures its strength, flexibility and resistance. The collagen in ALAVIS™ 5 is hydrolyzed, which means that it is enzymatically broken down into smaller particles that are better absorbed in the digestive tract and are therefore much more useful for the formation and restoration of damaged cartilage. Lack of collagen in joints and cartilage causes mobility disorders and gradual degenerative changes. Collagen ensures the strength and elasticity of connective tissue. Vitamin C Vitamin C is necessary for the metabolism of amino acids, especially the amino acids hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline, which are very important for collagen synthesis. Vitamin C also plays an important role in the development of bones and cartilage. A lack of vitamin C reduces the strength of collagen fibers not only in cartilage, but also in ligaments and tendons.
