The Bosch BMA220 Triple Axis Accelerometer is a low-power, SPI and I2C interface-integrated, low-power acceleration sensor module for low-power applications. The module measures acceleration in 3 perpendicular axes, detects tilt, motion, shock and vibration in mobile phones, PDAs, computer peripherals, human-machine interfaces, virtual reality features and game controllers.
The 2 x 2 mm Bosch BMA220 represents a new generation of acceleration sensors. The three-axis accelerometer integrates a number of features that make it easier to use, especially in motion detection applications such as device detection, gaming, HMI and menu browser control.
