The new Benro Tortoise series of photographic tripods is aimed at photographers looking for a lightweight travel tripod with a high load capacity and sufficient stability. These expectations were met by using high-quality carbon fiber in its construction and by not including a central column. The latter feature has a significant impact on the size of the foldable tripod, which is very important when moving in difficult terrain. The diameter of the folded tripod is only 8 cm, which makes it convenient to hide in a backpack or suitcase. The legs can be unfolded independently and have three locking positions. They are connected to each other by an aluminum spider, on top of which there is a flat base with a 1/4" and 3/8" tripod thread. The spider itself also has 3 1/4" threads for mounting additional accessories. The legs end with profiled rubber feet to ensure the best grip, regardless of whether the legs are vertical, at an angle or almost horizontal.
