ICE TECHNOLOGIES - Disc brake rotor and pad wear, such as when braking on long downhill runs, adversely affects braking performance. SHIMANO used an ICE TECHNOLOGIES disc brake rotor and an ICE TECHNOLOGIES pad to keep the cooling technology consistent. Coated disc brake rotor blades with a 3-layer multi-layer structure of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel ensure better radiation efficiency. In addition, the tray is equipped with a radiation fin. In addition, coated disc brake rotor blades and radiator fins ensure long pad life, less noise, less fade and lightness. Available in resin or metal composite, the optional radiating hair pad with 2-layer back plate (aluminum rib with stainless steel) further improves radiating performance. ICE TECHNOLOGIES piston for optimized lightness, high stiffness and heat dissipation. Oversized pistons transmit hydraulic power directly to the brake pad, and ceramic material is used to prevent heat transfer for consistently stable braking, ensuring efficient, loss-free braking force transmission.
ONE WAY BLEEDING - it was designed to quickly and easily prevent air from forming in our hydraulic system. We simplified the oil path throughout the system to prevent air bubbles from entering the system.

I-SPEC EV - Creates a clean and action-optimized cabin that provides more focus and flexibility for a wider wheelbase. A wider adjustment range allows riders of different styles, preferences and body styles to adjust to the optimal position. Ergonomic design, faster access to the lever and easy operation increase driver comfort and concentration. Thanks to the wider adjustment range, the I-SPEC EV levers can be adjusted to the optimal position to suit a wider range of riding styles (ENDURO/XC/etc), rider preferences and rider anatomy (hand and arm alignment). The I-SPEC EV increases brake lever stiffness by moving the brake caliper inward to create an additional rod-to-lever contact point. This additional mount drastically increases the bike's handling and braking while maintaining clearance between the clamp and the fulcrum for other handlebar accessories.
SERVO WAVE ACTION - When you pull the SERVOWAVE brake lever, the initial travel of the pads is fast, requiring few lever movements to bring the pads into contact with the rotor. The power multiplier then increases rapidly at pad-to-rim contact, allowing more lever travel to be used for more stopping power and better handling.
