Beaphar Fiprotec dog 67 mg, solution for dropping on the skin in dogs; OTC veterinary medicinal products. PURPOSE SPECIES: small stature dogs. One 0.67 ml pipette contains. The duration of protection against flea infestation is 5 weeks. The drug protects dogs against new infestations of ticks (Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) from day 7 to 28 after administration. The drug is not effective if the mites are already infested. Dose: One 0.67 ml pipette for dogs with a body weight of 2 kg to 10 kg Dose range 6.7-13.4mg fipronil per kg body weight. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use in dogs less than 8 weeks old and/or lighter than 2kg. Do not use if allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients. Do not use in sick or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits as adverse reactions or even death may occur. This medicinal product has been specially developed for dogs. Do not administer to cats as overdose is possible. POSSIBLE ADVERSE REACTIONS: If the medicinal product is licked off, excessive salivation/salivation may be observed temporarily, mainly due to the properties of the carrier substance. Among very rare possible adverse reactions after use, transient skin reactions at the site of application (redness, loss of skin colour, loss of hair, itching) and generalised itching or loss of hair have been reported.
