The meter checks: state of charge (SOC), cold cranking capability (CCA), voltage, internal resistance, charging and starting systems. The tester checks the condition of the battery using modern conductivity measurement instead of the conventional methods of discharging the battery using a load resistor. A digital battery meter emits a series of voltage pulses and measures the alternating current flowing in response. It provides quick and reliable information about the remaining capacity and performance of the battery. The device has SAE, CCA, BCI, DIN, EN, IEC, GB, CA/MCA and JIS rating systems.
