Alcodetector EC3 has a platinum electrochemical sensor and is intended for personal sobriety testing.

• The platinum electrochemical sensor is covered by 24 months. the manufacturer's warranty, breathalyzer maintenance and warranty service are performed in the laboratory of the Alkotesteris company.
• During the sobriety test, if the result exceeds 0.20 per thousand, three short beeps are heard, and the red LED indicator lights up continuously. If the test result exceeds 4.00 per thousand, the breathalyzer warns about this with an audible signal.
• The breathalyzer EC3 has a bright display that is easily visible during the day, which shows not only the results of the sobriety test in ppm, but also various warning messages.
• The breathalyzer has a memory of performed measurements and a test counter. The last 10 sobriety test results can be viewed on the device screen, when the memory is full, older test results are replaced by newer ones.
• If the blowing is too weak or too short, the breathalyzer displays the message "FLo" on the screen - the blowing must be repeated correctly.
• The breathalyzer measures the ambient temperature during activation. If this temperature is higher or lower than the operating temperature of the breathalyzer, the message "OUT" is displayed. In this case, the sobriety test should be repeated in an environment of suitable temperature.
• Conveniently sized, the matte black body of the breathalyzer is made of shock- and scratch-resistant plastic.
• The breathalyzer also displays a two-level notification of low and fully depleted batteries.
• In order for the results of breathalyzer measurements to always be correct, the accuracy of the breathalyzer must be regularly checked and, if necessary, calibrated. Alcodetector EC3 displays a message after 500 tests that the device needs to be checked (checking at Alkotesteris is free of charge) and, if necessary, calibrated.
