From the inside, the tank of the Dražice heater is made of a special steel sheet, which is protected from corrosion by ENAMEL fired at a temperature of 850 °C. By applying new technical knowledge and the most modern technologies, a high technical level of heaters has been achieved. Since the technical solutions are well thought out and quality materials are used, the heaters rarely fail and last a long time. The heaters are equipped with regulation and protection elements that obviously improve operational safety and economy.
The magnesium anode – an additional protection against corrosion – also extends the life of the tank.
The electric heating element (electric heater) is not immersed in water, but is installed dry in a steel tank, which is welded to the cover of the shore connection. Since the heater container and the connector cover are made of one type of material (steel), galvanic pores and electrochemical erosion do not occur as a result. This is the biggest advantage, if we compare it with heaters that are made with submerged heating elements. They are usually made of a different metal (copper, stainless steel), so electrochemical corrosion occurs in them. This system of ceramic elements is also suitable for hard and polluted water and obviously extends the service life of the tank. Through the cleaning holes, you can get inside the container and clean the deposits and limescale. The thermal insulation, which is 42-60 mm thick (does not contain freon), guarantees low heat losses.
