The Kenko Smart Filter set consists of 3 filters: Protector, Circular PL and ND8. The Protector is used as an overall lens protector. Smart Protector, made of high-quality multi-layer glass, does not affect the image quality. The circular PL filter is the main filter with a polarization effect that eliminates unwanted reflections or increases the saturation and contrast of the sky and nature. The ND8 filter (Neutral Density) reduces the volume of light passing through the lens , to achieve 8x faster snapshot speed or a higher coverage value in sunlight, or to simulate the wash motion of water and moving objects.
