Proper installation is essential

- smoke and high temperature sensor - installation on the ceiling (preferably in the central point of the room)
- carbon monoxide detector – fixing to the wall 70-180 cm (best at eye level for adults)
- natural gas sensor (methane) - installed on the wall no lower than 50 cm from the ceiling
- LPG gas sensor (propane-butane) - fixing to the wall at least 30 cm above the floor
In addition, the so-called dead zone is a place where detectors should not be installed, because they may not work properly or measurements may be falsified.
