Single Mode SFP Module GBIC-101 SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) modules, commonly known as GBIC (Gigabit Interface Converter) are modules that convert an electrical signal to an optical signal. The GBIC-101 Tornado insert is a module for transmission with dual (duplex) single-mode optical fiber (SM) up to 20 km. TX wavelength 1310nm, transmission speed 1.25Gb/s. The module has two LC-type sockets with a latch lock system to prevent accidental disconnection. A GBIC-101 module is required to communicate properly with another device. They include e.g. supply voltage, temperature, optical power of the signal emitted by the transmitter and power of the signal reaching the receiver. The module is intended for use in devices of various manufacturers that do not use protective measures. The module is compatible with TP-LINK devices. ULTIPOWER or with CISCO devices. This SFP module will not work with devices from manufacturers that use security.
