Reolink Argus PT Ultra surveillance camera for outdoor and indoor use. Weatherproof battery-powered surveillance camera with excellent 4K resolution and motorized (Pan/Tilt) body. The resolution of the camera is no less than 3840 x 2160 and the camera also has intelligent motion detection, a memory card slot, and two-way audio.

The Reolink Argus PT Ultra surveillance camera works with a battery and only needs a wireless Wi-Fi network (5 GHz / 2.4 GHz) to work. By default, the camera is used with a built-in battery/battery power, but it is also possible to use the camera indoors with mains power (power supply is not supplied). In addition to this, a separately purchased solar panel can be used with the camera, which almost completely eliminates the need for charging during the summer months. The battery life of the camera on a single charge is on average 1-4 weeks depending on the settings, use and temperature. The camera automatically sends a warning message when the charge drops to 10%.

The maximum resolution of the Argus PT Ultra camera is 4K, 3840 x 2160 with a 110° diagonal angle. The camera body is motorized, which means that the image can be rotated both horizontally and vertically. The camera also has a passive infrared sensor, i.e. motion detection is based on temperature fluctuations. Under optimal conditions, the camera can detect movement from up to 10 meters away. In addition to the passive infrared sensor, the camera also supports intelligent motion detection. Notifications sent by the camera take on a whole new meaning when the motion detection is configured to react only to vehicles, people or pets. Of course, the camera also has night vision, which means that the camera can also be used in pitch darkness. In addition to the traditional black-and-white IR night vision, the PT Ultra also contains two small LED lights that enable a colorful image even in the dark.

When detecting movement, the camera can send a notification and start recording to a separately purchased memory card (max. 128 GB, card purchased separately). Argus PT Ultra also supports the newer and more advanced H.265 video compression, which enables recordings with better efficiency. The camera also supports two-way audio, i.e. the camera has a speaker and a microphone.

The camera also has support for interval videos (time-lapse). The camera is set to take pictures at the desired time interval and a video is automatically created from the series of pictures. The progress of a construction project, the spring awakening of plants, the monitoring of traffic flows, the dawn of the morning - the uses are endless!

The camera is operated and managed with the easy-to-use Reolink app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. Finnish can be selected as the language of use of the application.

Reolink Cloud service:

Reolink has launched cloud storage for selected Reolink camera models at the end of April 2022. The user can choose between Basic Plan, Standard Plan and Premier Plan storage options. The Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera and the service is currently free. In the Basic Plan service, 7 days of storage history is stored in the cloud (max. 1 GB). Standard and Premier plans are paid services offering longer recording history, support for more cameras, more storage space and better alarm notifications (depending on the camera).

Note, The camera's battery life is significantly affected by the operating temperature, the strength of the wireless network, the use of the camera, and the number of motion detections.
