The WS30BK has a built-in sensor that measures the temperature and humidity in the room where it is installed. The optional wireless sensor in the kit can take measurements in the field or at any location of your choice. Data on temperature and humidity measurements are constantly updated and displayed on the LCD screen built into the weather station*. In addition, the device has a memory for measuring the lowest and highest values of temperature and humidity, which is automatically reset at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

In addition to temperature and humidity readings, there are trend indicators for these parameters. The arrows on the screen show how the measured values have changed in the last hour. An up arrow means that a given parameter has increased its value, a down arrow indicates a decrease in the value of a particular parameter, and a horizontal arrow means that the specified value has not changed.

The WS30BK weather station display also provides a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Note that this forecast is based on temperature and humidity fluctuations and has limited accuracy, but it is a useful tool for estimating the weather conditions in a specific location over the next few hours. Icons predicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowy weather are available depending on prevailing conditions.

The WS30BK weather station has a built-in sensor to measure the absolute atmospheric pressure, and the readings are displayed on the screen. If you're feeling a sudden drop in energy or you're a weatherman, just look at the screen and if your blood pressure is low, that's a sign to make a cup of coffee. Please note that this weather station shows absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from the official weather forecast. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in official weather forecasts is scaled down to sea level. The absolute pressure given in this model is the pressure measured at a given location at the corresponding altitude.

Increase the settings!
The WS30BK weather station has been carefully calibrated in our factory, but if for some reason you want to adjust the measurement values to your needs, you can manually calibrate the indoor temperature, indoor humidity and pressure values. The calibration range for temperature is +/- 5 degrees, humidity +/- 10% and pressure +/- 9 hPa. You can also manually adjust the corresponding weather forecast icons when setting up a weather station.

What time, what day?
There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in 12 and 24 hour format. For this reason, the station also acts as a useful clock. Next to the clock there is also a calendar that will inform you what day of the month and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

The WS30BK weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up earlier, just set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will sound automatically, and if you want to sleep a little longer, turn on the snooze function and the alarm will sound again after 5 minutes. The alarm goes off with a beep that lasts for 2 minutes, long enough to wake up even the heaviest sleeper. You can also set different wake-up times for weekdays and weekends. You can also use the alarm clock not only to wake up, but also as a reminder of some important events of the day that you don't want to miss.

The station supports up to three external sensors, so you can buy two additional Blaupunkt ACC20WS sensors for the included sensor, set them on the corresponding channels (the sensors have 3 channels, manually switched) so that the signals do not repeat. interfere with each other and fit them where you want. If you need to monitor the temperature and humidity in the bedroom, garage or home storage, nothing is simpler, leave the sensor there and read the measurement values on the display of the WS30BK weather station. Thanks to the LCD screens built into the optional ACC20WS sensors, you can also check the temperature and humidity values wherever you place them.

You can connect the WS30BK weather station to a power outlet using the included 5V 1200mA power supply and the wireless outdoor sensor with two AA batteries that are included. You need to buy a CR2032 coin battery for the station to remember the settings when the power goes out, but it's cheap so no need to worry! The station can work without it, but in the event of a power outage, you will have to enter the appropriate settings again. In addition, there is an external sensor battery charge indicator on the LCD screen, so you know when the batteries are low and you can replace them in time.
