The new and improved 20V series batteries consist of lower resistance Samsung 18650 type batteries. V20 batteries must be protected against discharge in extreme temperatures between -30 °C and +75 °C. SFMCB206 batteries are manufactured under sterile conditions on an automated production line, improving production quality and reliability. 20V series batteries must be protected against moisture penetration and must be tested for thermal shock, drop and vibration resistance.
