As a 3D printing material, it is ideal: it is mechanically strong, impact resistant, heat resistant, resistant to alkaline and acid solutions, alcohols, but easily lends itself to both mechanical and chemical processing.
ABS plastic can be further processed: sanded, smoothed, or glued with acetone. Processing with acetone vapors essentially helps to form a monolithic structure.
