This is a reliable, easy-to-use CB radio housed in a standard case with the option to power the radio with 12V or 24V.
A new feature is the 5V/2.1A USB port layout on the front panel in an easily accessible location for connecting any device.
The radio has features such as: ASC, automatic SQUELCH noise adjustment, quick channel selection using the microphone switches Up/Down – this is a significant advantage of this radio. The multistandard allows adjusting the radio's operating parameters according to the frequencies used in a specific country.
An important feature of this radio is the filters used, which improve the quality of radio use, and the VOX function, allowing you to speak into the microphone without pressing the PTT switch. We also have the option to connect a parrot - external tube - PA function.
The PRESIDENT BARRY2 radio, besides AM modulation – universally accepted and used in Poland – has FM modulation, which is useful in some European countries where it is the standard, or when vehicles are driving in a convoy, close to each other (25 -100 m). At this distance, FM modulation ensures better sound quality but does not allow hearing messages from other drivers broadcasted in AM modulation.
