The product SCOTCH-1601/400 is a colorless, transparent alkyd resin insulating spray.
When dry, a transparent, strong, flexible, non-cracking and non-flaking coating is formed, with a high dielectric strength: 40 kV/mm.
The preparation protects against the effects of short-circuiting and leakage, and also protects the cable from adverse weather conditions, moisture and salt (sea conditions).
The applied coating is resistant to UV rays, acids, oils, moisture and water.
