It is primarily produced by melting tin, copper, and silver using a continuous casting method without air exposure, followed by an extrusion process that ensures the removal of oxides. The material is intended for both manual and automatic soft soldering. It is ideal for professional work with electronics. The melting temperature of tin ranges from 217 °C to 227 °C. Harmful substances are released during soldering, and high temperatures are generated, so precautions should be taken.
