Universal distribution panels are designed for indoor installation. They are particularly suitable for installing 19" devices or distribution panels with a minimum occupied depth. 19" devices are mounted "vertically". Thus, a more powerful 2U (or up to 3.1U) Ethernet switch with distribution panels with a total area of 4U can be installed in the cabinet without any problems. The maximum dimensions of the active element that can be mounted vertically: width 19", device depth 140 mm (measured from the 19" bracket), device height max. 140 mm (fixing for 2U). The maximum depth of the mounting plate is 95 mm. The cabinet is made of rolled steel with a thickness of 0.8 mm.
