The Wiesenfield nuclear hive will be a breeding nest for still small bee colonies. The insects easily maintain the temperature in it, thus warming the brood. Due to the small number of combs, less bee material is needed than in a conventional hive. The hive has space for five Langstroth-format frames. If the colony grows, simply move the bees to a suitable hive. The box is made of durable plastic (polypropylene). The 4 mm material thickness guarantees excellent internal insulation against cold and external weather conditions with dimensions of 46.5 x 18 x 26.8 cm .
