The module is designed to output two UART interfaces from the I2C interface. The maximum transfer rate is 1 Mb/s, each UART interface has an independent FIFO buffer for transmitting and receiving 256 B data. Up to four modules can be connected to one microcontroller, outputting 8 hardware UART ports.
