Network cable, commonly used for building local area networks, includes Fast Ethernet (speed 100 Mb/s) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mb/s) applications. It is made of 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate electromagnetic and mutual interference. The wires are made of pure copper , with a thickness of 24 AWG and covered with a PE coating , each wire has a diameter of 0.9 mm with insulation. The outer jacket is made of 0.5 mm thick PVC .
