For perfumer Alexis Dadier, Papyrus is a memory of a gift from his grandparents – an Egyptian papyrus scroll decorated with hieroglyphics. It was only years later that he discovered that the plant grows abundantly on the banks of the Nile. Its woody, smoky aroma contrasts surprisingly with its lush green appearance, creating a fascinating paradox that makes papyrus a completely unique plant.
