Viss par produktu

Mouldlay wax-like plastic is a special plastic that can be processed with any 3D printer in the FDM process. This wax-like plastic is designed for molding. Using this thermoplastic wax-like plastic, molds can be made. Moldlay plastic can also be used for the lost wax casting process.
With the internet awash with fun 3D printable toys and original accessory designs, it’s clear that the possibilities of your 3D printer are only limited by your creativity and ambition. In practice, however, most of us continue to rely on a desktop 3D printer and PLA or ABS plastic. But did you know that you don’t have to spend thousands of euros on an SLS or SLA 3D printer to get more variety in your prints?
Moldlay is a completely new type of plastic with the unique properties of wax. It is very rigid at room temperature but becomes extrudable when heated to 170-180°C, and when using a heated platform we recommend a temperature of 40°C.
We can recommend this plastic to those who would like to try mold casting.

Main features:
  • Very small deformation
  • Low viscosity at elevated temperatures
  • High dimensional stability
  • Sturdy and dimensionally stable
  • Printing is possible without a heating plate
  • Pressure temperature from 170 °C to 180 °C
