The Kenko Smart Filter set consists of 3 filters: Protector, Circular PL and ND8. The protection is used as a general lens protection. Made of high-quality multi-layered glass, Smart Protector does not affect image quality. The circular PL filter is a basic filter that has a polarizing effect, removing unwanted reflections or increasing the saturation and contrast of sky and nature. An ND8 (Neutral Density) filter reduces the amount of light that enters the lens, so that on a sunny day you can use an 8x slower shutter speed or a larger aperture, or simulate the motion blur of water and moving subjects.
