The Lipo-Safe sealed bag, made of fire-resistant material, increases the safety of charging and storing lithium polymer packs.

The bag limits the effects of potential ignition, is fire resistant and does not allow air to enter.

LIPO-SAFE instructions for use
  • Make sure the charger is properly positioned and all connections are secure.
  • Place the packages in a sealed bag when charging.
  • Close the top lid of the Li-Pol bag, ensuring a tight seal
  • You should be extremely careful when charging the packs and visually monitor the battery charging process.
Comments:
  • There must be no short circuit between the two battery poles.
  • Do not discharge the battery at a current greater than the rated current (unless for a short period of time to maximum current).
  • Do not use or store the battery where it may be mechanically damaged or exposed to high temperatures, such as under a car window, outdoors, in strong sunlight, or near heating appliances. Thermal or mechanical damage to the battery (puncture, compression) will almost always cause irreversible damage to the battery.
  • Always remember to connect the (+) and (-) terminals correctly for their intended purpose - the positive polarity cable (red "+") must be connected to the positive port on the regulator or charger (also marked with the "+" symbol)
  • Since charging a battery can cause a fire, the charged battery should be placed on a non-flammable, heat-resistant, and non-conductive material.
  • Do not overcharge or discharge lithium polymer batteries beyond their safe voltage, which is at least 2.7V and 4.2V. To avoid this situation, always use good quality, efficient regulators and chargers - never leave the battery in the model connected to the regulator (e.g. overnight).
  • Lithium batteries should not be mixed to operate in the same system with Li-Pol cells of different capacity, different manufacturer, different voltage, or with other types of batteries, such as NiCD or NiMH.
  • The maximum temperature the battery can reach is 60 degrees C when discharging and 45 degrees C when charging.
  • The battery is charged to 50% capacity at the factory. However, it is recommended to fully discharge and recharge the battery before using it for the first time.
