LIS3DH is a 3-axis digital accelerometer module from Adafruit. This sensor is special in that it uses very little power, is cheap and has many additional functions that you may need. It can be used with all Arduino microcomputers, as it supports both 3.3V and 5V power supplies and logic signals. It is especially easy to control via I2C and SPI interfaces, so it can share the same connection with other I2C devices, and the manufacturer has written an Arduino control code library for it, which further simplifies its use.
