How does it work?
* General lightening process: Persulfates penetrate the cortex and lighten the hair fiber. Due to the strong alkaline environment necessary for bleaching, the hair shaft is absorbed and the melanin dissolves. During this process, some bonds are broken, leaving the hair damaged and brittle.
* During the lightening process with Lightplex - Bond Lightening Powder No. 1, malic acid penetrates deeply into the hair. The specially formulated brightening powder ensures even brighter results thanks to the optimized balance of persulfates and malic acid.
* Hair is lightened and Lightplex - Bond Completion In-Salon Treatment No. 2 is applied to still damp strands. It is the ProPlex technology that activates the malic acid that has already penetrated deep into the hair and adds even more of it. The bonds are reattached by stabilizing the hair from the inside. It also neutralizes the pre-lightening process, leaving hair smooth, shiny and up to 95% more elastic.
