Description:

LED plant lamp is a phyto lamp designed for growing seedlings, greenhouse and indoor plants, as well as for lighting aquariums and terrariums. The lamp compensates for the lack of daylight and stimulates active shoot growth.

LED phytolamps also provide plants with the wavelengths they need most, namely:

• -spectrum with a wavelength of 450-460 nm - blue;
• -spectrum with a wavelength of 625-630 nm - red.

For additional lighting of plants growing near a window, a power of 40 W per 1 m2 is sufficient. If the plants are located further away from the window, it is worth choosing lamps with a power of 60 W per 1 m2.

It is important to consider that the greater the distance from the lamp to the plant, the lower the light intensity. If you double the distance, the power will decrease by a factor of four. The use of reflectors will help to neutralize this effect.

The optimal height of the lamp is about 30 cm from the top of the plant (for greens and lettuce, 20 cm is enough). The minimum allowable distance is 10 cm, and the efficiency of devices located more than half a meter apart decreases noticeably. The exact distance is selected depending on the type of crop and the power of the lamp. It should be remembered that the plant grows upwards, and the lamp will have to be raised, so a margin is needed.
