Properties

• LECHUZA-PON is 100% suitable for all plants (even orchids and citrus plants).
• Consists of high-quality mineral pebbles that are free of contaminants.
• Has an optimal air-water ratio: 45% water / 55% air. Plant disease resistance increases. Even after some time, it passes water well and does not allow moisture to accumulate. LECHUZA-PON can be used for many years without needing to be replaced!
• Multiple filtration in production reduces the amount of fine particles in the substrate to a minimum. This prevents silting in the root area and maintains long-term capillarity.
• The zeolite material stabilizes the ideal PH balance for healthy plant growth in your LECHUZA pot. Macro and micronutrients remain forever.
• Maintains the structure and optimally provides air.
• LECHUZA plant substrate takes care of the balanced distribution of nutrients in the root zone of your plant. Thanks to the ideal supply of materials, the plant develops a consistent, compact root dispersion and becomes a strong plant that will stay with you for a long time.
• Stores water and nutrients and releases them again when needed. The natural accumulation of nutrients prevents root burn from overfertilization.
• LECHUZA-PON has an adjusted volumetric weight. Your plant is firmly supported in the pot, which is important for larger plants. LECHUZA-PON ensures that your LECHUZA planter remains stable and perfect for outdoor use.
• LECHUZA-PON is a natural odor absorber that can be emitted by e.g. dead roots.
• Metal elements and contaminants (e.g. from water) are permanently blocked.
• A fully mineral plant substrate prevents mold that attacks the roots. Therefore, PON drainage stones are suitable for people who may be allergic. This is not a suitable space for pests such as mold, as they only reproduce in the soil.
• PON can be used alone, without any soil, to fill pots.
