TECHNOLOGIES
Cotton casing - Cotton threads are the thinnest structure in tire casing technology, which leads to the advantages of lightness and flexibility. This feature makes it possible to create shells with a higher thread count - up to 320 TPI - for premium cotton shells. This feature allows the tire to better adapt to the road surface, resulting in a smoother ride, easier rolling and better grip. To increase the overall strength of the frame, Vittoria uses Corespun yarns, a type of yarn made from cotton and aramid fibers.
Graphene + Silica - Silica, added to Graphene, boosts the tire performance and consistently provides longer mileage and grip, further empowering the riding experience. Furthermore, this new compound combination reduces tire weight and increases the performance gains. Vittoria's lab tests have proven the new combination of Graphene and Silica to provide the following performance gains, compared to a normal compound: plus 9% in speed/rolling performance, plus 32% in grip, plus 21% in puncture resistance, longer mileage and tires wear life
