USAGE: One side of the tester is for testing the trailer plug and the other side is for diagnosing the car socket. PLUG TEST (FRONT): Connect the plug to the tester. Press the yellow button on the side of the tester. If the light is GREEN, the installation is good. If the light is RED, the wiring is TRIGGERED or the corresponding light is BURNT. SOCKET TEST: Connect the tester to the car socket - the lights are red. Turn on a light, such as a brake or turn signal. If the socket is OK, the light will turn GREEN. If the socket FAILS (or the device TRIPS), the light will remain RED. SPECIFICATION: The tester is designed for 13-pin (13-pole) plugs and sockets. NOTE 1: Due to the low load of LED lamps, the tester is not suitable for testing devices installed in trailers under LED lighting.
