The filament is for original Xenon headlights that require D8S bulbs (Xenon headlights with a lens). It does not require any installation changes. It has a perfectly set focal length and a voltage plug typical of the D8S bulb. It can only be used with the D8S xenon converter. These bulbs have a built-in igniter.
