Splash guard with adjustable headband (L1520200) Description: Splash guard with adjustable headband made of 1 mm thick polycarbonate. First optical class. Resistance to splashes of solids and splashes of liquids, e.g.: acids (sulfur, hydrogen chloride, hydrosulphide, nitrogen, phosphorus), low concentration alcohols, e.g. 25% ammonia concentration, alcohols except methyl alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, detergents, fuels, for mineral oils, animal and vegetable oils, motor oils. Resistant to a medium energy impact with a 0.86g ball at 120m/s. The weight of the shell is 215 grams. The face shield complies with the requirements of EN 166:2001 and Directive 89/686/EEC, approved by the EC type assessment certificate issued by the notified body, the Central Institute of Labor Protection, the National Research Institute. The shield has been granted a CE certificate. Purpose: Working with an angle grinder, working with a lawnmower, brushcutter. The EN166 standard applies to all types of personal eye protection equipment used to protect against various hazards that may be encountered in industry, laboratories, school buildings, DIY, etc., where eyes may be damaged or vision may be impaired, except nuclear radiation, X-rays, laser radiation and infrared (IR) radiation emitted by low-temperature sources.
