The 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is the world's widest lens with f/2.8 aperture and near-zero image dispersion. Thanks to its very wide angle of view (122°) and high clarity, the lens works well in many areas, from landscape photography to travel photography and astrophotography. The low thesis and true rendering of lines will especially appeal to photographers specializing in architecture and interior photography. The optical construction of the lens consists of sixteen elements arranged in ten groups. Three low-dispersion lenses and two aspherical glasses ensure the highest image quality of the entire frame - from edge to edge, even in an open curtain. The front lens of the objective is treated with a Frog Eye Coating to protect against dust and dirt, and a built-in mounting device allows for the installation of an optional filter adapter. The smallest dimensions and lightest weight compared to similar designs make the Laou 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D an ideal device for "everyday" use.
