Matcha is a powdered green tea from Tencha, recognized as the healthiest tea. Compared to other teas, it contains significantly more valuable health-benefiting compounds. It is rich in strong antioxidants – catechins, which have anticancer properties, as well as vitamins and minerals vital for your body. It has antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. It boosts metabolism and strengthens muscles and bones. One cup of matcha tea has the nutritional value equivalent to 10 cups of regular green tea. One cup of matcha tea contains almost as much caffeine as one cup of coffee.
Preparation
How you prepare matcha is up to you.
Our suggestion (1 g / 100 ml)
Pour one teaspoon of matcha into 100 ml of hot (75 °C) or cold water. Stir well and fill the cup with water or plant beverage of the same temperature.
Taste: traditional, bitter and sweet, refreshing.
